Lower CT-FFR values predict more 90-day revascularization in intermediate range, with CAD-RADS modifying effect

Journal of cardiovascular development and disease1w ago

In 973 patients with intermediate computed tomography-derived fractional flow reserve (CT-FFR), planned revascularization was 39.8% for 0.71–0.75 vs 19.3% for 0.76–0.80 (adjusted odds ratio 2.38; 95% confidence interval 1.72–3.29); effect strongest in CAD-RADS 3.

  • The association between CT-FFR and revascularization differed by Coronary Artery Disease Reporting and Data System (CAD-RADS) category (interaction p = 0.011), with the strongest association in CAD-RADS 3 (adjusted OR 1.39 per 0.01 decrease; 95% CI 1.25–1.54).
  • Exploratory major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events occurred in 31 of 973 patients (3.2%) over median 384 days, with no significant adjusted association with CT-FFR.
