External validation of AI full-vessel segmentation for intracoronary OCT

AI full-vessel segmentation of intracoronary optical coherence tomography (OCT) in 100 consecutive patients matched expert reads: calcified plaque kappa 0.88 (95% CI 0.84-0.92), lipid plaque kappa 0.68, near or better than interobserver variability.

• For lipid plaque, intraclass correlation coefficients were 0.79 for lipid arc and 0.59 for minimum fibrous cap thickness, largely superior to interobserver variability.
