In 4214 UK Biobank adults, higher obesity (body roundness index) was associated with reduced renal corticomedullary T1 differentiation (ΔT1; β = -8.507, 95% CI -11.893 to -5.120), mainly from lower medullary T1, while age correlated with higher cortical T1.
