European journal of radiology1w ago

Adding MRI-based synthetic CT to MRI and X-ray improved radiologists' assessment quality for cervical radiculopathy (median score 3.8 vs 3.2, p<0.001); trabecular bone visibility unchanged. Single-centre exploratory study with 24 patients.

  • Radiologists reported significantly higher overall assessment quality with the addition of synthetic CT (median score 3.8 vs 3.2, p<0.001).
  • Visibility of trabecular bone did not differ significantly between the two image sets.
