Isolated Post-Thrombectomy SAH Not Linked to Worse Clinical Outcomes

Retrospective single-center study of 471 stroke thrombectomy patients: isolated post-procedural subarachnoid hemorrhage was not associated with worse discharge NIHSS (P=0.98) or 90-day functional dependence (OR 0.69, 95%CI 0.28-1.68).

• Retrospective, propensity-score weighted analysis of 471 acute ischemic stroke patients (51 isolated SAH vs. 420 controls) from a single US center.
• Length of stay (P=0.472) and 30-day readmission (OR 0.61, 95%CI 0.14-2.68) also did not differ significantly between groups.
