Intraosseous pneumatocysts are benign gas-filled cystic lesions of bone, most often found incidentally in the sacrum and ilium adjacent to sacroiliac joints. They require no treatment. (exact prevalence not reported in source)
- Typically asymptomatic and discovered on CT as air-density lesions with thin sclerotic margins.
