Radquarters (YouTube)May 8

Giant cell tumor of tendon sheath (tenosynovial giant cell tumor) is the 2nd most common hand/wrist mass. US shows a homogeneously hypoechoic lobulated mass near tendon, not moving with it, often with posterior acoustic enhancement.
- Also known as tenosynovial giant cell tumor, localized nodular tenosynovitis; 2nd most common hand/wrist mass after ganglion cyst, most frequently on volar aspect of first 3 digits.
- On ultrasound: homogeneously hypoechoic, well-defined lobulated margins, posterior acoustic enhancement, arises from tendon sheath (does not move with tendon).
